15 years ago, I was coaching my daughter’s softball team, and I kept thinking “I just want a career that is like coaching.”   I loved  helping them to learn that they weren’t going to be the best at everything, but that  every one of them could be really good at something.  I was happiest when I was helping them learn and helping them find the place on the field where they could thrive.

I began my journey working with hearing impaired seniors. That grew into a career ensuring seniors had access to the healthcare services they need. Along the way, I found many seniors and their families who were overwhelmed by the myriad of choices facing them.  I found that many did not understand their options, and they were overwhelmed by the difficult decisions that needed to be made.  I knew when I was given the opportunity to empower families by giving them the needed “coaching”,  I had found my own place to thrive.

There is no one-size-fits-all solution to the many challenges facing a family in need of care for a senior. Whether it is independent living,  assisted living, memory care, home care,  or connecting them with other professionals who specialize in serving seniors, nothing  gives me greater pleasure than helping a senior and their loved ones find the solutions that are the best fit for their individual needs.
