My passion for helping others began back when I was a teenager.  I was a  candy-striper, or volunteer, at Mercy Fairfield Hospital and I knew I heard my calling for life.  The simple task of putting cheerful stickers on plastics cups while filling water pitches was just enough for patients and families in distress to smile and want to start a conversation about a lighter subject.   And, several years later, I graduated with my Master of Social Work with a concentration of Gerontology and Healthcare to start me on my path in the helping profession.

Just as 25 years ago my passion for eliminating undue stress and anxiety for patients in the hospital, I can still see how working with overwhelmed families to find the appropriate community for their loved one brings a sense of peace during a difficult time. Being a medical social worker here in the Greater Cincinnati Area all my career allows me to be an expert in knowing the appropriate placement options for my clients. I have been blessed to work with hundreds of families to take the burden of being the caregiver off them and truly settle back into their  original role of child, spouse, friend, etc.
